USA Downs Sweden 4-1 in Hockey

Team USA drew Team Sweden last night at the Steiner Ice Arena. After spending the entire first period trading physical hits, near misses, and beautiful saves, one after the other, both teams entered the first intermission deadlocked in a 0-0 tie.

Early into the first period Team USA scored on a rebound goal taking it to 1-0. Shortly thereafter, Team Sweden managed to get one past the USA goalie, Jeff Mansfield, evening it up at 1 all. Just before the second period came to close, USA scored again, taking a lead they would not relinquish.

Team USA would score two more goa;s in the third period sealing the victory over Sweden, 4-1.
