USA Burns Finland 4-2 in Ice Hockey
USA Team Yesterday’s 3:00 Hockey match between Team USA (2-1) and Team Finland (3-0) was a must win match for both teams. A Finnish win would guarantee the gold medal. While an American victory would mean that the only obstacle left to guarantee a gold medal was a victory over Germany (0-3) on Friday night. (Read more...)
Alpine Ski Giant Slalom Race
USA Team On February 8, the Alpine Ski Giant Slalom race was held at the Park City Mountain Resort, with 18 women and 25 men competing for a medal. The women went first, finding the mountain skiing conditions icy. Packed snow was the result of several days worth of racing on the courses with no fresh snow. But regardless, the first run went smoothly. However, the second run saw more crashes in one particular spot, halfway down the run. (Read more...)

Snowboard Parallel
USA Team Perfect snowboarding weather greeted athletes and fans alike at the Park City Mountain Resort as the Parallel Giant Slalom qualifiers began. The competition was fierce as 11 women from six countries and 15 men from eight countries vied for the best spot in the finals. The USA had three contenders in the ladies’ pool – Nixo Lanning, Rachel Loftus and Gracie Wildman – and three in the men’s pool – William Loftus, Jeffrey Pollock, and Greg Reger. (Read more...)
